Loving the view of Pyongyang, North Korea – you can now visit for cheaper with my 5% discount!

This is such a great time to visit North Korea too, and I have a load more stories to write about during my amazing time there. While in the country, you will be given a full guided tour by the North Korean guides, accompanied by a representative from Young Pioneer Tours. My guide was Rowan – a top lad who knows the ins and outs of this incredible country! Rowan even found time away from his busy working schedule to have some drinks and beers with us. As we took the train out of Pyongyang and headed back to China we opened the beers and toasted to a top trip!

  5. Thanks for the comment Torsten – I found North Korea to be easily one of the top 5 safest places I have ever been. Petty crime and theft is almost non-existent! As are muggings and lootings. Even bombs and shootings are almost unheard of, especially against foreigners. It’s really safe, and you’ll be with a guide most of the time anyway – hope you head out there to see it. Safe travels. Jonny

  14. Arden

    Hi there,

North Korea, sounds like an exciting journey! I’ve always wanted to do it, but because apparently one has to go with a tour company, it seems rather expensive! What was the overall cost for your trip to NK including bookings with the tour group, flights etc?

  15. Hi Arden, the cheapest you can do it on is about $500-600 for a 3-4 day trip. I did a 5-6 day trip over National Day and it cost around $900-1100. Check the YPT website for further details. It’s really worth doing! A great trip. Safe travels. Jonny

  16. Natalie Warne

is this 5% off still valid?

  17. Hi Natalie – yes but please remember to quote my website Don’t Stop Living when booking through Young Pioneer Tours. Gareth and Rowan at YPT will be able to sort out the discount and the trip for you. Safe travels, Jonny
